D2B is an innovative platform that aims to allow professionals to present themselves in a clear, professional and accessible way – while emphasizing a clean, fast and focused user experience. The system allows each expert to create a personal digital card that includes the field of work, experience, contact methods, frequently asked questions and more. In addition, an advanced search system was built that allows surfers to find exactly who they need – by field, location and specialization.

Our mission

Our mission was to produce an interface that simplifies the page creation process for the experts and allow them to manage content in an independent and convenient way. At the same time, we built a search system that helps the end users to locate the specialist that suits them exactly. It was important to us to maintain a restrained, elegant and easy-to-navigate design – while maintaining high performance and full compatibility with mobile.

Work plan

The beginning of the project included mapping needs with the project owners and a deep understanding of the types of experts and users. After characterizing the user interface, we moved to the design phase, and developed a WordPress-based system with custom development using ACF and JavaScript. We designed the platform so that it will be open to future expansion, and you can easily grow along with the project.

Technologies

We chose a stack that balances between convenient content management and a fast and effective user experience. We integrated WordPress with ACF, and developed an Ajax-based search mechanism. We made sure of performance, accessibility, and full compatibility with mobile.
