Allergy Site

It is a broad medical information index, from Prof. Yitzhak Katz – a leading expert in the field of allergy. We built an image website designed to make medical information accessible to the general public, with a clean, organized and easy-to-read design.

The mission

The main challenge was to establish a programming platform that would allow Prof. Katz to share a large amount of medical knowledge – in a clear, non-threatening and user-friendly way. At the same time, we created an advance payment option for making appointments through Bit, and added an infrastructure for paid content.

Work plan

We started by creating a hierarchical structure of content according to medical topics, symptoms and types of allergies, using a clear taxonomy. We designed an easy-to-read interface – with large texts, calm colors and accents in the right place. We developed an integration for advance payment through the Bit app, alongside a technical infrastructure for displaying a content summary and billing for later viewing – a feature that was not activated in the end, but was fully built. We put emphasis on full compatibility with mobile, ease of use, and organic promotion over time – with the understanding that the target audience includes both patients and their families.

The technologies

In order to make medical knowledge accessible in an organized way, activate the possibility of payment and build a site that is ready to grow – we used stable technologies and accurate:

• WordPress We chose WordPress to allow full control of the content, a flexible structure and optimal preparation for organic promotion.
• Advanced Custom Fields was used by us to define customized fields in articles, content summaries and advanced display options built in advance.
• BIT API Integration We developed an integration for online advance payment through the Bit application – including complete documentation in the system and simple management on the side The customer.
